Jon Flaming's Texas Scrapbook Series number 1

For over 4 decades, Texas artist Jon Flaming has been collecting all types of materials that serve as inspiration for his work - from old toys, farm doors and furniture to old magazines, photos and scrapbooks. It is from the scrapbooks that Jon has produced his first series of fine art giclee prints. The first two prints, “Screech Owl” and “Marsh Hawks”, come from a scrapbook that was found in the bottom of a wooden box in the attic of an old Texas home. Hidden away for over 100 years, this 1880’s scrapbook is filled with wonderful hand-cut pictures of flowers, advertising illustrations, animals, landscapes and more. The images of the owls and the hawks have been painstakingly reproduced to show off the incredible detail and color in these beautiful works of art. Perfect for home or office, these fine art giclees will be available for a limited time.
