Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 1:54PM When our children were young we would load them up in the Suburban early in the morning and head off to Taos or Santa Fe to go ski. This was a yearly event for our family. Along highway 287, I would make a number of stops in different small west Texas towns and take photographs. (Thankfully, Kathy and the kids were patient with me) Over the years, I collected many images. This is a recent painting of one of those small town scenes in Quanah, Texas. -
